We act as the red duck on your desk. We listen without judgement, co-architect solutions, and do the work to actually build them.
And almost everyone skips it. We don't. We show up, shut up, and listen before we scope anything.
The red duck is our mascot, our method, and our accountability buddy. A symbol of our commitment to listening, and a reminder that the best solutions come from slowing down and understanding the context.
Every desk at our company has a small red duck sitting on it. This isn't some quirky startup aesthetic we cooked up in a branding meeting. It started with Kenny, our co-founder, and a gift from a mentor who had one piece of advice: listen before you prescribe.
That duck became a reminder. Then it became a philosophy. Then it became the name on the door.

If you've spent time around software engineers, you might know about rubber ducking. The idea is simple: when your code is broken and you can't figure out why, you explain it line by line to a rubber duck. Somewhere around line forty-seven, you hear yourself say the one small thing you missed.
The duck doesn't solve the problem. You do. The duck just forces you to slow down and actually think.
"Context is where the real value lives, and almost everyone skips it."
We've watched the same dynamic play out with early-stage founders, except the stakes are higher and the advice is noisier. Everyone has a playbook they want you to run. Copy this sequence. Buy this tool. Hire for this role.
Most of it sounds reasonable until you realize none of it accounts for your situation. What you're actually selling. Who you're selling it to. What proof you have. What resources you don't have. What's on fire right now versus what can wait.
RedDuck exists to do the opposite. We show up, we shut up, and we listen. We ask the annoying questions that surface what's actually broken. Then we roll up our sleeves and fix it.
Think of us as the rubber duck on your desk, with fewer squeaks and a little more follow-through.
Standing up HubSpot with a data model that won't collapse
Building outbound systems and landing pages that match how you actually sell
Writing the SOPs first, then turning them into automations
Creating AI agents that don't require a PhD to maintain
The process stays the same. The builds never do.
